These rates come from your licensed copy of the ITE Trip Generation Manual, and nowhere else. This tool ships no ITE figure — not a rate, not a pass-by percentage, not a fitted equation. It holds the schema, the entry surface and the arithmetic. Everything you enter is stored as attested data with your name and the date against it, and it ranks above the model's own benchmark placeholders and below a jurisdiction's own adopted table.

Why this matters on a live deal. McCordsville Ordinance 121024E Sec. 7 adopts the ITE method case-by-case and publishes no rate table of its own. On the example site plan that fee is $4.26M resting on this model's benchmark estimates. Your licensed rates are the governing input there — entering them replaces an invented number with an attested one.

An entry is keyed on edition + land use code + independent variable + time period. Edition is required and never guessed: jurisdictions pin different editions, and a code's identity is edition-scoped — the same number can mean a different land use, with different size thresholds, in a different edition. The code list below is seeded from the building subtypes this tool already knows; an entry exists once you supply an edition.

Corrections never auto-apply. Export writes a file; running python tools/ingest_ite_rates.py <file> applies it to config/ite_rates/library.yaml after you review it. Nothing in this browser writes the repository. Any entry that would replace an existing attested figure is printed by name during ingest.
